The IDEAL 2445 MC is the fine-cut version of the 2445 deskside range, for offices that need security level P-6 – a step above standard cross cut, without the cost or bulk of a fully centralised high-security machine.

The 0.8 x 12 mm super micro cut takes up to 6 sheets (70gsm) per pass through the 240 mm feed opening. Because of the fine cut, this model – like other MC and SMC variants – should not be used to shred paper clips, staples or CDs/DVDs; the CC version of the 2445 handles those.

The 35-litre shred bin (50-litre cabinet) is removable and works with or without a disposable shred bag. Because fine-cut models are excluded from IDEAL’s standard lifetime cutter guarantee, this model does not carry that guarantee. Made in Germany.
