Small office shredders handle more sheets per pass, have a larger bin, and can run for longer before needing a rest. Which cut type should I choose for a personal shredder?
Straight cut produces long strips and is the most affordable option, suitable only for non-sensitive general waste. Cross cut shreds paper into small rectangular pieces at DIN P-3 or P-4 security — appropriate for personal documents such as bank statements, utility bills, and letters containing your name and address. How many sheets can a personal shredder handle per pass?

Do personal shredders need shredder oil?
