The INTIMUS 360 Crusher physically destroys hard drives — bending and breaking the platters with over 10 tons of force in an 18-second cycle — for organisations whose policy requires physical destruction, not just magnetic erasure, as final proof a drive cannot be read again.
Listed on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List as a second-stage hard drive destroyer when paired with the INTIMUS 20000 degausser (or the 8000/9000 for non-NSA requirements), it handles up to 1,800 drives/hour at 2.5in and 360/hour at 3.5in.
An optional SSD module extends destruction to solid-state drives, flash media, USB drives, mobile phones and SSHD controller boards. No hydraulics — quiet enough for an office environment rather than a dedicated destruction facility.
