The INTIMUS VZ Multimedia 150 shreds hard disk drives up to 3.5in directly into 18.5mm particles, along with videocassettes, carbon tapes, circuit boards, CD-ROMs and DDS/DLT data tapes — at a practical throughput of around 180 HDDs per hour.
The cutting unit is built for long-term industrial use and can be re-sharpened several times rather than replaced, keeping running costs down over the machine’s life.
Mobile on castors and needing only 0.7 square metres of floor space, it fits through a standard door despite its industrial-grade cutting power — a three-phase CEE 16A supply is the only special requirement.
